Strategic Partner Retainer
This page describes the standard frame I use for ongoing strategic engagements. It is not a productized service. Every engagement is scoped to the client. Terms below are the baseline.
There are two types of engagement I run with clients. The first is an install, where I build out an operating system inside your business across roughly 60 days, you and your team end up running it, and we are done. The second is what this page describes: an ongoing strategic partnership for operators who already have the team, the tools, and the production pipeline, and want continuous access to the thinking behind the work.
This is the shape that fits established companies. You are not looking to rebuild your stack. You are looking to stay pointed in the right direction, avoid expensive mistakes, and continue evolving how you operate as the channels and the market shift around you.
What is included
The frame below is what every Strategic Partner Retainer starts with. Specific deliverables get customized during the first two weeks of the engagement, based on where your business is and what you need most.
Cadence and access
Standing 60 minute strategy call. Recorded.
Slack or email, 24 to 48 hour response, US business hours.
Continuous transfer of what is working across active engagements.
Selective deep dives and reviews on specific markets, launches, or workflows.
Who it fits
Investment
Strategic Partner Retainer
Six month minimum engagement.
Pricing is the same across clients. Scope inside the standard frame is what gets customized, not the rate. Engagements outside this frame (full installs, build outs, project work) are scoped separately.
How engagements start
This is not a productized service and there is no public sign up. Engagements start one of two ways: through an existing relationship where the fit is already clear, or after a scoping conversation where we work out whether the retainer frame matches what you actually need.
If we have already had that conversation, the next step is a written scope of work tailored to your business, drawing from the standard frame above. Once that is approved, payment is scheduled and the engagement begins on a defined start date, typically within five business days.
If you landed on this page because we are already in a conversation, the scope of work for your engagement is being drafted separately. This page is the reference for the frame, not the proposal itself.
If you found this page another way and the shape looks like a fit, the right next step is a direct introduction. Email support@crischico.com with context on your business, your team, and what you are working on.
